It does everything a sequel should do - it adds a lot more and it does it all a lot better. Running and gunning is better now too, and sometimes you'll just head on out there and see how far you can get. Lobbing a nade into a group is always best followed up with some spam too, so they don't have time to get outta the way.I found leaping from cover to cover really intuitive too Baj - if you look at gears right, jumping from one bit of cover to another requires some planning and often covers just not there here though it's just natural to flip to the next wall, reload and keep pushing on. Goons still take lots of bullets to go down but at least they've explained it now with a nice selection of Kevlar, and some tough amour wearing shotgun dudes who will walk slowly towards you like a horror film protagonist, as you furiously reload whatever weapons you can find.Melee's not bad, there's a simple counter to their incoming attacks and in the middle of gunfire having fisticuffs can be quite exciting.and suicidal.and if you lay a few bullets into them before going the punch it'll be a quicker takedown you're also encouraged to stealth it up to stop them calling for backup, and for funz! Nate automatically goes into a stealth creep when enemies are near and no matter where you are he'll use the environment to his advantage, whether it be pulling a guy into a wall, or simply giving him a little nudge into oblivion.Jung, rolling in games is too often necessary to avoid certain attacks, but here, you want to roll because It's just cool, after a jump or if enemy nades come too close- and they will, enemies will try to displace you all the time especially if you've set up camp - it's always fun shooting them mid throw though, because they tend to lose their grip on their own ball of death. I replayed that on easy though and it was a much better game so I went into this one with the same idea and then pumped it back up to normal because I wanted the game to last longer. Baj you didn't really like the combat in the first did you?The goons just took too many bullets Jung - it's that whole thing of well if they're 2 meters away, they need 4 bullets to die, but 3 meters and it's 12.
All the achievements are fun, and there's unlocks such as '1 shot 1 kill', filter tweaks, and I even felt something at the end.Sif! Uncharted 2 constantly surprises you from start to finish, an easy 10/10 from me.This is going to be one of those great franchises of this generation of hardware Baj, I can feel it! It's accessible, 'very easy' settings adds some auto aim for example, and a top notch score to boot, I'm giving it 9.5. But even without the multiplayer Jung this is one of the best games I've ever played, you get a full story, it builds on the last game in every area. It's really fast paced - everyone is in cover and blindfiring, or climbing about the place, and there's stacks of leveling and unlocks.
